SUPPORT OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD
Neighbourhood: Share the Sound is our campaign to support direct, open access to live music for people living in Birkenhead.
Birkenhead is a town that has faced decades of neglect and lack of opportunity. At Future Yard, we create opportunities without barriers, from cradle to career.
Your support will directly fund free-to-access live music and training programmes for people living in our priority neighbourhoods, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to access.
By doing so, we ensure that everyone can enjoy music, and unlock potential to transform their passion into sustainable careers.
We need the support of forward-thinking corporate partners like you.
- Through our Neighbourhood Ticket Scheme, we have distributed over 1,200 free-to-access tickets through our local community partners to give people access to live music who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend.
- Mosh tots, our gigs for kids series, gives an hour of fun and interactive music-making to over 1,500 local children and their families every year.
- New Noise Music Centre gives, each year, 45 young people the chance to try their hand at new instruments and collaborate with other young people every week.
- Our Sound Check live music production programme teaches 120 young people annually the skills they need to make a career in the live music industry.
How can you help?
Help us continue to provide transformational opportunities to local people by pledging your support towards our work:
- £1,500 enables 180 children and their families to enjoy Mosh Tots, our ‘gigs for kids’ series.
- £2,000 funds 250 free tickets for local people through our Neighbourhood Ticket Scheme.
- £6,800 supports 20 young people through a term of music-making, to build musical knowledge, confidence and life-long friendships at New Noise Music Centre.
Your support will be recognised with a bespoke package of benefits for your organisation, including free tickets to live music events for staff and clients, complimentary hires of our venue spaces, discounts on food and drink and contribution to your corporate social responsibility objectives.
