New Noise Club <18 | Phoebe Green

UNDER-18s ONLY - DRY BAR

Northern pop powerhouse Phoebe Green headlines our latest New Noise Club <18 event, after being touted as “Manchester’s next big thing” off the back of some brilliant releases in 2022.

This show is the latest in our series of Saturday afternoon dry bar shows for under-18s. These regular shows will feature special guest headliners alongside new merging local musicians in a perfect environment to get that first taste of live music. Tickets are open to under-18s and sixth form/college students.

Tickets on sale now, priced at £5. Tickets cost £6 on the door.
Physical tickets can be purchased from the Future Yard venue box office seven days a week, with no booking fee.

New Noise Club <18

22 year-old Manchester artist Phoebe Green has quickly established herself as one of Britain’s most thrilling new lyricists over the last 12 months. A natural with acerbic wordplay already, latest single IDK finds Green mining St. Vincent’s knack for a soaring chorus and a sharp as tacks guitar riff to stunning effect.

Phoebe Green dares to confront her reflection, holding the mirror up to her face so closely she can see her breath on it. Who’s there? A shock of tangerine curls which earned her the childhood moniker of ‘Shirley Temple of the north’; eyes painted with strokes of lime green; right hand inked with the constant reminder: Lucky Me. For years, the singer-songwriter has been circling the surface, refining her own story through the stories of others, filtered through a prism of experience that always allowed her to hold herself at a safe, controllable remove.

NEW NOISE CLUB <18

We are thrilled to have New Noise Club as part of regular series of events; a new monthly live music club for under-18s! Held on Saturday afternoons, New Noise Club <18 will host some of the most exciting new artists from the North West, while also showcasing young, emerging local talent.

We believe that live music should be accessible and available to all and New Noise Club <18 is here to provide a safe space for teenagers to experience live music. All shows are dry bar events, with no alcohol on sale. Tickets are only available to under 18s – or 6th Form / College students who have turned 18 this year – with no adult tickets available. Parents/responsible adults may attend to accompany their children, but we ask that the live room is made as welcoming and comfortable a space as possible for young people to enjoy the show.

This New Noise Club <18 show will be opened by one of the bands formed at our New Noise Music Centre. Held every Saturday morning, New Noise Music Centre is an opportunity for teenagers to experiment across a range of instruments and music-making techniques. Guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and vocals sessions are led by our team of hugely experienced and passionate tutors. Participants also get a chance behind the mixing desk and get to grips with live sound and lighting. New Noise Music Centre opens up again in September 2023, but you can sign up for all the latest news about New Noise here.
