PULLED APART BY HORSES

Pulled Apart By Horses are a potent force within the alternative rock scene – less a gang, more a fucked-up family. Formed in 2008 and existing in its own chaotic ecosystem, PABH embarked on relentless tours with frenetic live performances. The Leeds trio make and perform music that thrills and menaces. Their most recent album came in Sept 2022, after a period of reflection and transformation, PABH released their long-awaited 5th album, ‘Reality Cheques’. Creating songs delivered with raw urgency, the band changed their approach with Hudson ditching his guitar and focusing on vocals, distilling their lineup to guitar, bass and drums creating a vital new feel.
CRAPSONS

Crapsons are a punk trio from Birkenhead known for their raw energy, sharp humor, and DIY spirit. No strangers to the FY stage at this point, Crapsons deliver fast, chaotic tracks full of wit and social commentary, making them a standout in the underground punk scene.
TWO TONNE MACHETE

TWO TONNE MACHETE are a feminist alt punk band who make authentic, high energy, feel good punk anthems based in North West England. TTM’s vibe is Amyl and the Sniffers meets Mannequin Pussy and IDLES. And my God are they loud. They have a raw and powerful sound together with melodic vocals and crunching bass driven distortion. They are ambitious, committed and have a strong political ethos. Songs tackle issues such as misogyny, radical politics, control, toxic masculinity, sexuality and the rights of disenfranchised people. TTM brings this message with powerful guitars, thumping bass and striking female vocals. Along with full throttle punk energy their music has melody and depth and light and shade producing a more complex and developed sound than most punk acts but retaining the punk ethos at their core.
PETRICHOR

Petrichor are an all female grunge band from Liverpool, channelling raw energy sourced from sounds of the Riot Grrrl scene, mixed with tones of classic softer grunge. Formed by four young women that all have a passion for guitar heavy, emotionally driven music, Petrichor continue to gig around the city at grassroots events and venues. The heavier grit featured across their music resonates with a 90s sound, mixed with their own contemporary twist that comes together to create their own sound. The group deliver performances with emotion and drive that comes from the depths of their lyrics that elevate their shows with the true backstories of the tracks. Some of these delve into themes such as feminism, mental health and resilience, that Petrichor throws out for audiences to dissect.
OH MOTHER

Oh Mother is a genre-bending band from Liverpool, blending the rawness of 90s grunge, the pulse of 70s soul jazz, and the complexity of progressive rock.
With over 30 gigs played, they’re steadily growing a reputation as THE band to watch live, as audiences are blown away by the captivating performances, unhinged on-stage camaraderie, and unparalleled musicianship.
Introspective lyrics exploring the human condition meet dazzling sax solos, soft haunting melodies bookend scorching vocal assaults, and funk-fuelled basslines underpin venomous guitar riffs. A sound “different from anyone else” in the Liverpool scene, and a spectacle to match.
