Ko Shin Moon| Future Yard | Future Yard

We are delighted to be playing host to spectral psychedelic duo Ko Shin Moon here at Future Yard this autumn. Axel Moon and Niko Shin are friends who share a passion for discovering cosmic echoes in many easter and western traditions. Their latest series of work, Miniature I and II, sees them explore pop and folk cultures from Maghreb to India. Begun during Covid-enforced lockdown, their ideas was to collaborate with artists from different parts of the world on a collection of songs, grouped by geographical and cultural areas. The two resulting works gently invite listeners to travel through space and time, finding a fluid identity that drifts between folk, psychedelic rock and synthetic music.
Tickets on sale now.

Ko Shin Moon was born in 2017, at a crossroads between traditional Eastern strings and electronic music machines. After spending four years in India collecting folk instruments, Axel Moon discovered that his old friend Niko Shin had started a recording studio filled with analog synths. From this private haven, Ko Shin Moon create otherworldly, hybrid melodies where psychedelia meets space disco.
