Our celebration of the year that was and the year that will be is back in Birkenhead on New Year’s Eve, as we team up with Hooton Tennis Club and friends to really put the ‘Hoot’ back in Hootonanny!

Following on from their sold-out return show that kicked off 2024 at Future Yard, the Wirral’s-favourite indie darlings return to close out the year in style, with a two-set night performing their own songs earlier in the evening, followed by a supergroup of HTC and friends playing your favourite party songs as the clock strikes midnight.

Hank Bee, The Hermit and Disco in Sochi support on the night – all joining Hooton Tennis Club on-stage as ‘Hermit Hank’s Disco Club’ take you into the new year.

Based in Liverpool, The Hermit reimagine traditional Irish tunes and Old English ballads with psychedelic and jazz sensibilities – alongside their own compositions with airs of improvisations.

Hank Bee is the solo project of Liverpool based, Northumbrian musician Hannah Brown. Through her music she manages to blend traditional folk and country motifs with modern alternative rock embracing the roots rock movement. Each track takes on themes of love lost and personal angst with dry wit backed by cascading instrumental and epic rock anthems!
