ALEHOUSE FUTSAL

FOOTBALL FOOTBALL FOOTBALL

We’re screening the final of Euro live on the big screen in our Live Room on Sunday evening, kick-off 8pm. Gareth Southgate has worked his quiet magic to get England to a second successive men’s Euros final, cleverly convincing us all that England are boring and rubbish so as to go under the radar, and storing up secret weapon Ollie Watkins. It’s time to get over excited again – but let’s leave the fireworks at home this time, yeh?

England are up against the free-flowing Spain, who have so far been the only side to have played well for longer than 45 minutes in the whole tournament. This definitely marks them out as favourites, but who knows what masterful anti-football tactic is being cooked up in Blankenhain: Lewis Dunk man marking Rodri? Jordan Pickford as a false 9? 4-4-2?

Come along and join us in humming along to the Rockford Files music when the players are walking out. And hopefully celebrate England lifting the Henri Delaunay with a rousing rendition of Joy Division Oven Gloves.

The game kicks off at 8pm. The venue bar and kitchen are open and serving from 7pm, and you’ll be able to take your seat in the Live Room from 7pm (we have a family event earlier in the day that finishes at 6pm, so we can’t open any earlier). It is free entry, no ticket is required. The Live Room is indoors, with benches, tables and stools laid out – if it’s really busy, you might have to stand.

Before the Live Room opens, you can sit and watch the build up in the bar area before taking your seat in the main room.

We are a cashless venue.

Due to a very busy weekend, our Kitchen will not be serving pizza tonight during the game. We will be serving sides instead, though, and the Kitchen will be open til 9pm.
