Zion Train Dub Club return to Future Yard to present Abassi Hi Power Summer Special in our garden on 24th June for an all dayer celebrating the outer limits of sound. A special album launch party of Zion Train’s brand new album Dissident Sounds (released 20th June), this party under the summer sun will feature the legendary Zion Train themselves as well as fellow dub explorers Dub DefendersLotone Sound and Sugar Shack Sounds.

One of the most unique and enjoyable live dub acts on the planet, their use of dynamic onstage dub mixing whilst performing alongside acoustic instruments and exceptional vocalists truly  make Zion Train one of a kind in the live arena. A healthy back catalogue spanning 30 + years is to have an new addtion this summer with new album ‘Dissident Sound’ released just in time for this dub-fuelled all-dayer.

Joining Zion Train on the day are Dub Defenders, a DJ duo from Merseyside who play a variation of Reggae infused Bass Music from Dub, Steppers, Jungle, Grime and everything in between. Over the years they have opened up for Dawn Penn, Dub Pistols, Dreadzone, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Congo Natty, Dennis Bovell, Mampi Swift, Devilman, Zion Train and The Prodigy and have also played numerous festivals including Beat Herder, Mucky Weekender, Africa Oye and Positive Vibration to name but a few.
