In Bloom

We are delighted to be teaming up with our neighbours and partners at Bloom Building for a series of live shows, starting in 2025. Taking place in Bloom’s airy-yet-homely indoor events space, the Future Yard In Bloom series features artists who are on the up and are about to bloom – and gives you music lovers even more opportunities to find your next favourite artist.

If you love discovering new music and witnessing the buzziest new acts at the start of their careers, then you’ll love the shows we have coming up in this series. This is a great opportunity to be part of the journey of some brilliant bands, songwriters, DJs and producers at an early point in their career, before they go on to achieve great success.

Future Yard In Bloom - live gig series at Bloom Building

Future Yard and Bloom’s involvement stretches back to 2019 and the festival that launched Future Yard and #thefutureisbirkenhead. Over two days Bloom hosted some incredible live shows as one of the main festival stages, hosting Dry Cleaning, Squid, Working Men’s Club, Queen Zee and many more. It was a brilliant coming together of the musical and creative worlds in Birkenhead, and it’s long been something we’ve wanted to explore again.

Bloom Building is the flagship space of the Open Door Charity, and has been operating in Birkenhead since 2019. Bloom is Merseyside’s most colourful building, an immersive environment that reimagines how the worlds of mental health, social action, arts, culture and community coexist. For this series of shows, Bloom’s main open events space will be transformed into a 120-capacity live gig space, with stage, PA and full lighting rig.

Bloom Building is a 7-minute walk from Future Yard, and can be found at:
